Andrew Smith

“I truly believe that the Community Improvement Fund will be a force for social equality. Our impact will be felt immediately, and I will fight to spread our ideas across the world.”

After graduating from Vanderbilt University, Andrew Smith worked as a financial advisor helping families plan and invest for their financial futures. His academic background in Economics and his knowledge of advanced investment concepts laid the foundation for a groundbreaking spin on Universal Basic Income. In 2021, Andrew decided to launch the Community Improvement Fund to implement his vision. He hopes this organization will launch a social movement and establish Chattanooga, TN as a focal point of social progress.

Davey Smith

“ I am passionate about not just our urban centers, but also about the small towns and country backroads that make Chattanooga the greatest town on Earth. I believe that the Community Improvement Fund will be an unmatched source of prosperity and opportunity for each and every person we touch.”

Davey Smith graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology and pursued a career as a software engineer building solutions for America’s supply chain. His knack for problem solving, and his experience in dealing with complex issues makes him the perfect person to implement the big ideas of the Community Improvement Fund. He hopes this organization will enact tangible improvements to the everyday lives of Chattanoogans.
